ClaimSnap Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 2, 2026

The short version

What we collect, and where it lives

Your accident documentation — photos (with their capture time, and the capture location only if you allow location access), accident details, and your case-check screener answers — is stored on your device. There is no account, and none of it is uploaded automatically.

What leaves your device — only if you send it

How the consultation model works

ClaimSnap is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. We do not recommend or rank attorneys — firms are matched only by your location and case type. Participating firms pay ClaimSnap a flat fee for consultation requests. That fee is never a share of any recovery and never depends on whether you hire the firm or on any outcome of your case. You are never obligated to hire anyone.

Location

Location access is optional and used only to record where the accident happened in your own file. Declining it does not block any documentation feature.

Deletion

Settings → Delete all my data removes your accident files, photos, and any pending or queued consultation requests at any time. Deleting the app deletes everything stored in it.

No ads, no analytics, no sale

ClaimSnap contains no advertising, no third-party analytics SDKs, and no trackers. We do not sell your personal information.

Not legal or medical advice

ClaimSnap is a documentation and organization tool. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal or medical advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship. Filing-deadline content is general information only. If anyone is injured, call 911.

Children

ClaimSnap is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this URL and noted in the app's release notes.
