RentProof Privacy Policy

RentProof is built so that we cannot access your data, because it never leaves your device.
What we collect
Nothing. RentProof has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. Your properties, rooms, condition records, timestamped photos, and captured signatures are stored only in the app's local database on your device.
Camera and photos
The camera is used solely to document the condition of a rental during a walkthrough. Photos you take or import are stored inside the app on your device. They are never uploaded, analyzed remotely, or shared with anyone — including us.
Signatures
Signatures you capture from a tenant, landlord, or property manager are drawn and stored on your device as part of the inspection report. They are never transmitted to us or any third party.
What leaves your device
- Nothing automatically. The app makes no network requests of its own.
- Purchases: the optional Pro subscription and single-report unlocks are processed entirely by Apple. We never see payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies: apple.com/legal/privacy.
- Reports you export: the condition-report PDFs you generate go wherever you send them — for example, to a tenant or landlord. That's under your control.
Data retention & deletion
Your data lives in the app. Deleting a property or report deletes its records, photos, and signatures. Deleting the app deletes everything — export your PDF reports first if you want to keep them.

RentProof is a documentation tool. The reports it generates are not legal advice and do not constitute a lease or binding agreement. Consult a qualified professional for your jurisdiction's requirements.
Children
RentProof does not collect data from anyone, including children, and contains no ads.
Changes
Any future changes will be posted at this URL and noted in release notes.
