Sleepscapes Privacy Policy

Sleepscapes is an offline bedtime story and soundscape app. It is designed so that personal bedtime activity stays on your device and is not available to us.

What we collect

Nothing on our end. Sleepscapes has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking SDKs, and no developer-operated server. We do not receive, store, sell, or share personal information or listening activity.

Stories, playback, and preferences

Stories and soundscapes are included inside the app. Your selected bedtime routine, timer choices, dimming preference, control-lock preference, and optional reminder time are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to us.

Notifications

If a grown-up enables the optional bedtime reminder, iOS schedules a repeating local notification on the device. The reminder does not use a push-notification server and does not send the reminder time or usage information to us. You can disable it in the Parent Center or in iOS Settings.

Purchases

The optional Original Collection is a non-consumable in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple. We never receive payment-card details. The app checks Apple's StoreKit entitlement information so it can unlock or restore the purchase. Apple's handling of App Store purchases is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

What leaves your device

• App Store purchase activity: handled by Apple when you choose to buy or restore the Original Collection.
• Content you deliberately share: anything you choose to share using iOS goes only where you direct it.
• Nothing else. Sleepscapes does not transmit stories, listening history, preferences, reminders, identifiers, or personal data to us.

Children

Sleepscapes does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. It contains no advertising, analytics, social features, or child-facing purchase controls. Purchase and restore actions are placed behind a grown-ups gate.

Data retention and deletion

Local preferences remain on the device until you change them, reset the app, or delete the app. Deleting Sleepscapes removes its locally stored preferences and reminder configuration. App Store purchases can be restored through Apple; local preferences are not stored by us and cannot be recovered by us.

Changes

Any future change to this policy will be posted at this URL and noted in the app's release information when appropriate.
